Employee Handbook Builder
New option to remove “new policy” notification

Enterprise version
A new feature has been added to the Master Handbook that allows users to remove the ‘New Policy’ notification. When users select ‘Remove new policy notification?’ on the Policies page, two additional checkboxes will appear. Users can choose to remove the notification from the Master Handbook, the Sub Handbooks, or from both.
Enhanced “welcome” message with company name and username for improved clarity

Both standard and enterprise versions
We have enhanced the “Welcome, …” message in the upper right corner of the tool by adding the company name and username for all user types. This update will improve clarity, especially for Enterprise users, by helping them easily identify which handbook they are currently working on. While this is less of a concern for regular users, it will provide crucial visibility for those managing multiple handbooks, ensuring they can quickly confirm their current session and avoid any confusion.
HR Hero open house
If you missed our recent HR Hero Open House (10/31/2024) it is now available to you on-demand. You can access the open house recording by logging into your account, locating the Help Resources widget and clicking Get Started. Once logged in, you will be able to find the open house recordings under the HR Hero Product and Content Communications folder. The open houses are a great way to get to an exclusive webinar tailored for our subscribers. This event gives you an advanced look at product enhancements, product roadmaps, and legislative updates. New “variable text” link enhances transparency in policy variable text
Both standard and enterprise versions
A new link titled ‘Variable Text’ will be added before the ‘Change’ link on the Policies page in the ‘Related Questions’ expand/collapse section. Clicking the ‘Variable Text’ link will open a pop-up or a new window/tab displaying the corresponding variable replacement text.
