Challenge
Sikich LLP is a professional services firm specializing in accounting, advisory, and technology services. Sikich Human Resources Consulting Services is a full-service HR consulting team operating primarily in the midsize market. Sikich works with public, private, and nonprofit clients. Many of its smaller clients operate without a dedicated Human Resources department, and Sikich LLP assists them with HR services, including primary HR function, enhancing HR processes, or advisement. A few years ago, the firm saw an opportunity to expand its offering to further support HR function.
Sikich LLP found its clients needed not only an executive HR extension but also tactical HR support, including technology to support tactical workflow. Tasks such as building employee handbooks were time-consuming, and providing employment law compliance information and training was logistically challenging.

This provides its clients with more self-service options and has opened time for the Sikich LLP team to spend on more strategic initiatives.
BLR’s HR information solution provides employment law analysis and guidance that are leveraged by the Sikich LLP team, as well as its clients. BLR’s HR Hotline allows the Sikich LLP team to receive quick and customized answers for tricky compliance scenarios its clients may face.
