Course description

Whether using diesel, gasoline, or other flammable liquids, refueling equipment is a necessary part of each construction project. Following safe refueling procedures is critical in ensuring your safety, as well as the safety of your coworkers. This course will cover safe refueling techniques, as well as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, or OSHA, regulations for the safe handling of these potentially dangerous substances including 29 CFR 1926.152 – “Flammable liquids” and 29 CFR 1910.1200 “Hazard Communication Standard”.
This session is intended for employees who work with construction machinery and refuel equipment.
