Featured update
New feedback feature on templates and guidance
We’ve introduced a new interactive feature on our Templates and Guidance section to better understand your needs and improve our content. The new “Was this helpful?” button allows you to quickly rate the usefulness of the content. If you find that a particular resource doesn’t meet your expectations, you can provide feedback directly within the platform. This feedback will help us refine and enhance our offerings to better support your HR efforts.

Employee Handbook Builder – Updated preparation checklist
The Employee Handbook Builder is undergoing a significant update based on user feedback. The Preparation Checklist, previously a downloadable PDF, is now a fillable form. This change allows users to input their information directly into the form, making it easier to gather and organize data before starting the handbook-building process. The checklist has also been reorganized to align more closely with the handbook questions, reducing the time spent searching for relevant information. This update is currently in development and will be available within the next few days.
HR Laws – alert and content update
We hope you are enjoying the new HR Laws platform that has been recently rolled out! You now have the ability to customize both your site content feed and email alerts to receive the most relevant updates and state-specific information for your needs.
Here’s how to update your preferences:
- Log in to your account on the new HR Laws platform.
- Navigate to the “Manage States” section on the right hand column.
- Select the states you wish to be notified about.
- Click “Save” at the bottom of the page.
HR Hero open house
If you missed our recent HR Hero Open House (07/25/2024) it is now available to you on-demand. You can access the open house recording by logging into your account, locating the Help Resources widget and clicking Get Started. Once logged in, you will be able to find the Open House recordings under the HR Hero Product and Content Communications folder. The Open Houses are a great way to get to an exclusive webinar tailored for our subscribers. This event gives you an advanced look at product enhancements, product roadmaps, and legislative updates.
