This course on Word 2019 or Word 365 helps you format information in a way that’s easy to read by creating lists, columns, or tables. We’ll also cover how to work with these tools to refine your document’s appearance.
This course is one in a series of seven 30-minute courses. Take the full series and you will have completed our full “Bigger Brains Mastering Word 2019 – Basics” course.

Learning objectives:

  • Sort lists using multiple criteria, including lists with multiple columns
  • Format numbered lists to control the numbering style and sequence
  • Fix issues with list sequencing to continue numbering or restart numbering at 1
  • Insert a table to clearly lay out important information
  • Update a table by adding rows, moving rows, and adjusting column width
  • Format a table using Table Styles or by selecting individual options like updating the Borders and Shading
  • Quickly create a table from text that’s already in your document using Convert Text to Table
