Course description

Employees who work on powered platforms to perform building maintenance services on high-rise buildings, such as window cleaning, caulking, metal polishing, and reglazing, are exposed to potential hazards. These powered platforms are installations permanently dedicated to internal or exterior building maintenance services. Employees are exposed to hazards like electricity, falls, equipment malfunction, and unstable equipment.

This training course is for workers who conduct building maintenance on elevated powered platforms on external and internal high-rise structures. It is designed to help them identify the potential hazards that could cause injury and teach them safe practices to prevent and control exposure to hazards while working.
