Course description

It’s essential for supervisors to know how to properly plan for responding to workplace disasters and other emergencies in order to prevent employee injuries, minimize property damage, and minimize the disruption of business operations.

This course focuses on the information supervisors need to carry out their duties under their facility’s emergency action plan, or EAP, and examine key issues such as Occupational Safety and Health Administration, or OSHA, requirements; emergency evacuation procedures; employee training; and emergency response assignments.
