Course description

The objectives of this session are to discuss important safety points about welding and cutting. By the end of the session, you will be able to identify the major safety and health hazards, know the different welding processes, select appropriate personal protective equipment, or PPE, and implement controls needed to prevent or control fires.

Los objetivos de esta sesión son abordar puntos importantes de seguridad relacionados con la soldadura y el corte. Al finalizar la sesión, usted será capaz de identificar los principales riesgos para la seguridad y la salud, conocer los diferentes procesos de soldadura, seleccionar el equipo de protección personal (EPP) adecuado e implementar los controles necesarios para prevenir o controlar incendios.
