Course description
In this course, we will define sexual harassment and its negative effects in the workplace, as well as outline the steps you and your employer can take to prevent and respond to sexual harassment.
This course will also discuss the conduct and responsibilities of a supervisor in creating a workplace that is free from sexual harassment. The fact is, sexual harassment is hurtful and costly and it’s against the law. That’s why the state of New York and New York City require you to receive training on the types of sexual harassment and how to prevent them.

At the completion of this course, the participant will be able to:- Define sexual harassment and it’s negative effects in the workplace
- Outline steps you and your employer can take to prevent and respond to sexual harassment
- Describe the responsibilities of a supervisor in creating a workplace free from sexual harassment
- Identify and adhere to sexual harassment laws and policies specific to the state of New York
- Identify and adhere to sexual harassment laws and policies specific to New York City
