The main objective of this session is to eliminate slip, trip, and fall hazards in the workplace and prevent accidents. By the time the session is finished, you will be able to recognize slips, trips, and falls as a serious safety problem; identify slip, trip, and fall hazards on the job, at home, and outdoors; avoid or eliminate slip, trip, and fall hazards using commonsense methods; understand the importance of proper ladder safety and some of the ways California is there to protect you; prevent falls everywhere—at work, outdoors, and at home; and minimize injuries if you do fall.
