Course description

Feet are constantly in use and play a critical role in maintaining balance, mobility, and stability in the workplace, making them vulnerable to hazards like falling or rolling objects, punctures, slips, and other hazards. Foot injuries can be severe and impact a worker’s ability to move and perform tasks. Fortunately, these injuries can be minimized when workers recognize foot-related hazards and consistently use and properly maintain appropriate protective footwear.
This course is for all employees required to wear foot protection.

Compliance:
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) PPE standard at 29 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 1910.132(f)(2) requires employees to demonstrate an understanding of the training and the ability to use PPE properly. While OSHA doesn’t explicitly mandate hands-on training, practical demonstration and evaluation are often necessary to ensure compliance and the effectiveness of the training.

Course Duration: 22 min
