EHS Hero product updates: what’s new in Q3 2025
This quarter, we’re excited to share several major updates to EHS Hero that make it easier than ever to manage compliance, deliver training, and streamline safety operations. From expanded training content to AI-powered tools and improved mobile functionality, these enhancements were designed to help your teams stay compliant, work smarter, and access critical information faster.

Expanded training options
HAZWOPER training materials now available
We’ve added support for 8-, 24-, and 40-hour HAZWOPER training programs to help your teams fulfill OSHA’s HAZWOPER requirements.
- Download and print ready-to-use materials for your instructor-led training curriculum
- Ensure teams are equipped to safely handle hazardous waste scenarios
- Access directly in your EHS Hero training library for convenience
Note: On-site field experience may still be required to comply with OSHA regulations. Be sure to review the program’s regulatory guidelines.
OSHA 10 & 30 training available
We’ve expanded our offering of OSHA 10- and 30-hour training for both general industry and construction to be deliverable via the TrainingToday LMS or SCORM. Courses are available in both English and Spanish. Contact your sales representative to learn more or enable access
Training planning made easier
Learning Tracks for high-risk roles
Coming soon, we’re introducing Learning Tracks, a feature that organizes required and recommended training for 65+ roles across high-risk sectors, including:
- Construction
- Motor carriers and transportation
- Hazardous waste and hazmat shipping
- Healthcare
- Warehousing
These curated training paths will make it easier to build a compliance-aligned curriculum directly within EHS Hero.
Management tool enhancements
Mobile app upgrade
We’ve upgraded the EHS Hero management tool mobile app for better performance, stability, and security:
- SSO Access: A new “Sign in with Work Account” button lets SSO-enabled clients log in through their corporate authentication system
- Session Timeouts for More Secure Utilization: Standard users are logged out after 48 hours of inactivity
- Optimized mobile performance for a faster, more reliable experience
CAPA module enhancements
- Configure columns for more targeted data exports, including custom fields. Save export templates for future use
Audit module enhancements
- New question bank streamlines audit creation and reduces manual entry and improves team efficiency
Incident module enhancements
- Coming soon: Use a blank Incident template to build a fully customized incident reports
- Coming soon: Assign specific individuals during incident review instead of defaulting to all users
SDS management module enhancement
- The SDS Management module is getting one of the most requested updates yet: our SDS API Integration will automate imports and updates of safety data sheets, keeping SDS libraries current and compliant. This API will be available in Q4.
AI-Powered regulatory research
Coming soon: an AI-powered chatbot to make regulatory research faster and more efficient:
- Provides condensed, accurate summaries to your compliance questions
- Includes quick-reference links to relevant EHS Hero content
- Built on BLR’s proprietary, verified content to ensure accuracy
